How to Change Background Color of Blogger Templates

Changing background color of Blogger templates is not very difficult task but due to less knowledge about CSS many of Bloggers remain unable to change it. Background Color of a template changes the appearance and grace of Blog's look. Some templates have background colors and some have image backgrounds. If you are using a default blogger template, you can edit your Background easily but if you are using template other than default template then you have to edit Template's HTML. Here the issue arises that the person who knows about CSS can change Background Color of Blogger Template but other one cannot. So today I will show you How to Change the background Color in Custom Blogger Template.

Changing Blogger Background Color

So lets start the process by following these simple steps and change your background color.

• Go to Blogger Dashboard.
• Important :Backup you Template.
• Go to Template >> Edit HTML.
• Search for body in your template by Ctrl+F. See demo image below.

In the above image you can see that Image is used as background of blog's template. If you want to replace this image with any other then simply replace image URL e.g http://xxxx/x/xxxx.jpg with your own image URL. But if you want to change background from image to color, then simply replace URL with parentheses e.g url("http://xxxx/x/xxxx.jpg") with color like Red, Blue, Green etc. Visit this page for color codes and names Click Here. In this image you can see that color is used as a background. In this type of format you can easily change your background to color. In above image #9e9e9e is used as a color. Just visit a given link in previous paragraph and find a huge number of color codes and names. Simply replace this color code with your desired color code. Preview your template before saving it.  Then click on Save Template and Enjoy!
